My expectations weren't even in the same continent as Omaha. It's a success even if we go 0fer.

Making the postseason as a 3 or 4 seed would have met my expectations. That we hosted a regional in Athens far exceeded what I thought Stricklin was capable of, even if things ended with a whimper.
That being said, we return a lot for next year and have reason to be optimistic but I'm really not counting on us to do any more than we did this year. I think Stricklin still has some flaws and with Pete Hughes moving onto Kansas St I worry that he might have been the catalyst for the locker room this year

Didn’t meet regular season expectations.
Met post season expectations and was one base hit away from exceeding them.

We didn’t get to fire our coach, so I’m slightly disappointed.
We had a really good season and it was fun to watch.

Auburn met/exceeded my expectations.

Da hell if I know, I'm new to this.

I tihink since our coach was fired after the first weekend series for screwing and sexting the football secretary, and that we had to play our first 14 games on the road becauae of stadium construction, and we still made it to Omaha with an interim coach makes this season exceed any expectations I had. I'd took a .500 overall record the last week of February and called it a success.

Reg season exceeded with most wins in program history with series wins over some well respected SEC teams
SEC Tourney Champs was a blast to watch from my pool and am proud team won it so exceeded
Regional big disappointment but also have come to expect it.

No. LSU’s expectations should be Omaha every year. Historically the best baseball program in the SEC and a national powerhouse.

Yes. We ended being who everyone thought we would be. Successful season.

No, because I expected this season to resemble arky football with John L Smith, so epic disaster.
Fortunately, they didn't ask me.

It would be nice if Oklahoma cared about baseball. An appearance in Omaha would be a nice start.

Waaay exceeded. From a Warren Nolan predicted 0-30 SEC record preseason to Omaha postseason.

Stanford shat the bed and Texas has been on borrowed time since a few weeks ago.

My expectations were low so yes. We had an off year but should be back to normal soon.

Exceeded. Hate the way it ended though.

Regular season and SEC tourney I thought we played above expectations. Then this team didn’t even make it to Supers, and I’d say we finished post season below our expectations. So I guess those two level out, and WAOM, so overall I guess it went as expected.

Lost 8/9 fielding starters,
7/9 - Watson and Dups but I agree with your thoughts.
Between all the position losses and injuries we probably exceeded expectations. We peaked in the SECT and seemed to have no energy left in the regional.
