Who knows???? Brandon Allen has looked very, very good in the (2) games he has played. One thing I do know...Joe Burrow is a very, very cerebral QB and that is what separates him from the pack...Shall we say at the Tom Brady level. Time will tell with Brandon Allen but I don't think he has the Burrow hidden factor. look, all QB's can be great if they have the receivers and great team around them. The perfect example of that would be Dwayne Haskins.... excellent QB in (1) year of college. but with the Washington football team I have to say he has looked terrible (although better lately). But the guy has absolutely noone to back him up and looks confused and disorganized... Good teams make good QB's look good.

Everyone should know that a rookie QB will struggle and by next year or so he will be more experienced with the NFL.

Is Brandon Allen a rookie this year? If not , what were his rookie stats since you seem to be a stat guru?

If bengals were smart, they’d trade burrow. He will never be a good QB.

As a Tiger fan, I say absolutely. The Bengals should move to trade Joe ASAP.

Brandon Allen is just incredibly well-rounded. He has no "x-factor" that a lot of the greats have that allow them to separate themselves from the pack, but he has no glaring deficits.

Put me down as another vote for getting rid of Burrow. Allen is the man. No doubt! I think the Saints are looking for a QB next year. Perfect time to trade Burrow to them for a hell of a backup QB in crablegs and some picks. Do it now!

No. He was a back up for Petrino/JLS, and then played for Bielema.
