Did the Bengals have the real franchise QB under their nose the entire time?

Former Arkansas QB Brandon Allen just went:

29/37, 371 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT

Before that, he went:

27/36, 229 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT

Bengal QB’s records as starter
Joe Burrow: 2-7-1
Ryan Finley + Brandon Allen: 2-3

IMHO, they’ve found their franchise QB in Allen. He takes less sacks than Burrow and turns the ball over less. I think he gives them a better shot to win because he is way more efficient with his passes than Joe. He is also much better in the 4th quarter and high leverage situations.

Just my opinion.

Burrow does not have an nfl arm. He thrived in college when the pocket broke down and could throw out a duck to jaymur chase

Yes. Cincy should trade Burrow to a team looking for a QB, like New England. Would be best for all parties IMO.

No troll, I would like to see what Belichick and Burrow could do together.

Clearly BA is the better QB. Your stats only serve to back up what we see with our own eyes.

I agree. If Allen plays well again next week, trade Burrow to the Pats for Stephon Gilmore and a couple OL to protect Allen. Burrow’s value is sky-high right now, so they need to take advantage before he becomes known as a bust.

He would keep Belichick on the sidelines for another 15 years

Whoa let's slow down on the QB controversy. Gotta learn to walk before you can run.

It's okay man. Your Dawgs don't have to play Burrow anymore. Road to recovery started this year for you guys.

Allen was a solid QB in college on a bad team (outside of Hunter Henry and Alex Collins.)

So, it's no surprise that he's superior in every way to Joe Burrow.

Those teams should have won more games than they did, especially 2014 when we had a top 10 defense to go along with a lot of offensive players still in the NFL today. Somehow Bielema went 5-3 in the SEC and finished 3rd in the West yet lost to Toledo and a mediocre Texas Tech team OOC.

He is the Bengals QB of the future. No doubt. Fantastic QB.
