Vandy can sign a whole team and put them on full “scholarship”. It’s not cheating it’s just a rigged system.

I mean he won a title at LSU, and had a lot of experience in the NFL. He’s also very good with parents. Once he got the ball rolling, it recruits itself.

Yep, I was referring to more egregious acts... I can’t imagine Vandy offering Dodge Chargers or setting up parents with houses for baseball players...

When Nick came to Alabama, a kid was more likely to win a championship at Florida or LSU yet he started pulling them in.
Hasnt he gotten fired from every NFL job he's held?

Several people (myself included) knew generally about the ACT scheme while it was happening. This was the scheme that the were really dumb about because they didn't really hide it at all.
I don't think people ever knew enough specifics for it to get reported to the NCAA, but once they came sniffing over other things, they had no problem finding it.
Their pay-for-play stuff was amateurish but small potatoes. The rigged ACT scheme was the real scandal IMO, and it was satisfying seeing it come to light after knowing it only as a very believable rumor for so long.
I also think the thing that did Ole Miss in with the money is that they were pretty freely handing it out to every prospect they wanted, whereas other schools tend to focus the more unsavory recruiting methods on only their top targets.

I think Freeze would be a great coach even without the cheatin. One of the better offensive minds of the last decade
