So, here's the thing. Not only is there no convincing evidence of him playing QB, there's no convincing evidence that he even EXISTED before becoming a student assistant. Could you help me prove that he didn't spring forth from Monte's head, fully formed, like some modern-day Athena? TIA.

Yeah O' Leary said he had a masters degree when he didn't in addition to saying he was a three year letterman which he was not.

So Kiffin was at Fresno State from 94-96 but was stuck on the depth chart behind Billy Volek who was at Fresno State from 97-99 and David Carr who was at Fresno State from 99-01
No wonder we can't find evidence of Lane Kiffin on the team from 94-96, because he was on the time traveling practice squad

Reno Gazette-Journal 05-Nov-1994, Page 3F lists Lane Kiffin on the Fresno State roster as #18, 6-3, 190 QB. Only reference to him I could find.
