Did Jimbo turn down LSU waiting on A&M?

It’s well known LSU tried like hell to get him to coach there in 2015 and 2016. The rational LSU fans would love to have him now too given the chance. If Tennessee is throwing out 8.5m per year then I still don’t think money was an issue plus Jimbo doesn’t even make that much money.
Is it possible he was waiting on the sleeping giant in the Brazos Valley, with the nicest facilities in the country and bottomless pockets? Please discuss

No doubt, he absolutely loves the Brazos Valley. He's been taking private vacations to the area for years.

Nah, I don't agree, Jimbo was gonna come to LSU, but he wanted a shite load of money to come, and Alleva said hell no. Tennesses can go ahead and be the fools and pay him 8.5 mil, that's damn crazy.
