Why did Georgia and Texas A&M not play during championship weekend?
We need to know who is truly the third best team in the conference.
Texas A&M fans seem to think finishing second in the division is an accomplishment worthy of hardware so I wonder if the SEC will start a “Division Runner-up Third Place Trophy Game?”
It could be on Friday night before the championship game.

If they had the winner might have been in the playoffs.
The league needs to seriously steal the B1G Championship Weekend idea. It's a really good one and there are few if any reasons not to do it.

Is Auburn even MORE insecure than LSU (who is very insecure) about Aggy passing them in the SEC hierarchy?

cant even win the division, acts like they've surpassed 2 teams who have in the past 4 years with one of them being 12 months removed from a 15-0 national title season. Its been the same song and dance with you losers since 2012. Every offseason you're "passing Auburn and LSU." One reason you never will is because those schools are focused on being at the top, not being the 2nd best team in the division. Its pathetic yall crow so much about this when you arent even talking about actually winning the conference.

You better understand that winning the west requires more than you’ve been able to do since 2012. It requires not being satisfied with a “good” season. It requires winning the games you need to win to get to Atlanta. Sometimes that’s 8 games, sometimes less, but a team has to actually win on the field to play in Atlanta.

I have never seen any fan base so excited about coming in 2nd in its conference division (after losing to Alabama by 4 touchdowns). But I guess that's what decades of utter mediocrity have done for poor Aggie.
