It's actually more impressive that Bama didn't respond. The players just kept on running. That's discipline if I've ever seen it.

I agree. I was impressed.

Possibly. I don't follow other teams nearly as much as UGA.

Not only did they taunt Bama coming out of the tunnel, the UGA players taunted Bama while they were practicing pre-game.

LINK

Yep, UGA players dancing at midfield while the coaches looked on.

Holy Toledo thats bad. Georgia just got punked on a National Scale. Come out barking and talking trash only to be completely and utterly destroyed?

Georgia fans, you should be embarrassed. Like, forever

My entire opinion of Richt changed completely when I watched the WLOCP in 2013(?) His players were completely classless thugs during that game. Which is fine, but don't tout yourself as the school that "does things the right way" when you allow your players to act like that.

I'm not saying Alabama players are any better. If Saban allowed them, I am sure they would be taunting with the best of them. Since that isn't something Saban tolerates, his players follow suit.

Damn that's sad. Must be even worse when you're at home, the favorite, taunting, and then eventually losing by 28.

Richt did this vs Fla that one year when ge sent the entire team out to celebrate the first score. It worked that day but backfired on him yesterday

Seriously a "We are the scared ones" move. Trying to intimidate a Bama team.

Just play the game.

I bet Richt told them too. The reason? Richt doesn't know how to get his guys up for big games. The best "get up" thing he's done was the 2007 TD celebration with Florida. I'm guessing he keeps trying to do this crap because he thinks that moment changed the 2007 for Georgia so if they do it again they will win. I mean he struggles in big games got to try whatever you can I guess.

LINK Here's the video. Bama players just run straight out. Typical Georgia. All talk.

That stinks. Not that it was just UGA taunting Bama, necessarily, but that any team would do that shite. That's low rent. Shouldn't be allowed in the SEC.

Not a good idea when a Nick Saban led-team comes out of the tunnel. They were asking for an arse kicking and they got it. Pretty typical stuff, the emotions are more important than the execution. That’s why UGA is UGA and Alabama is Alabama.

Richt's character and sportsmanship is the most overrated thing in college football. Why does he keep getting a pass for BS like this and what he did against Florida while the media keeps propping him up as a saint?

Because he mixes it in with Bible verses and his faith. I've always respected the guy, but I was just hoodwinked like everybody else I guess. No respect for that chump anymore. Dawgs need to hire a winner and quit settling for his bullshite.

The deal at midfield while Alabama was warming up can't be explained away. I really can't believe that the Georgia coaching staff allowed that to happen. That's probably the best look we'll get into the problems that keep Georgia from being an elite program.

Those of you defending Richt and acting like he had nothing to do with this need to remember the 2007 staged endzone celebration that he ordered against Florida. The entire team left the bench to dance and taunt Florida after the first UGA TD and it was planned. You would think after that Richt would not get the benefit of the doubt. Either he is ordering this stuff or he has no control of his team. Both of which are just as bad. Remember "the missing man" stunt he pulled in practice to convince Crowell to commit? How do you think that made the rest of his team feel? He is nothing but a stunt clown with no ability to lead a program. UGA is a ten win program regardless of who is coach. Richt just happens to have his name on it, but he is not leading jack shite.

The Belk Bowl taunting is ridiculous. They should have ejected multiple players out before the game even started.

I didn't realize this was a pattern for UGA:

But I am sure those other teams also provoked UGA.

This is why it is so silly anyone is giving Richt the benefit of the doubt. He either orders it, allows it, or has no control of it. All 3 are just as bad and not what you want in a head coach. With all the BS rules that are out there today for refs to call, orchestrated pregame taunting like that should be an automatic 30 yard penalty to begin the game, or a forfeiture of possession to begin the game(opponent receives kickoff to begin both halves), something like that to stop crap like this. It has no place in football.

Link to Bama EVER taunting an opponent as they run out of the tunnel like that? Where are these other SEC teams who have at least 4 videos on youtube of orchestrated entire team taunts like that?
