I don't think anyone said he wasn't good. I said we don't miss him at all. I think even the gumps would admit LSU is pretty solid at RB without him

He didn't have the grades to get into LSU, but Bama cheated and got him eligible.
Yup.

LSU fans are the whiniest excuse making bunch I have ever seen. Never seem to give anyone credit for anything. Just an observation.
Its always "BAMA has a program to help juniors", or "BAMA players are on steroids", or ""Lacy can't spell his name and is a mentally retarded rapist so we didn't want him". It is always some bullshite excuse with y'all LOL. How hard is it just to tip your hat to the young man from your state? Just admit that your staff blew it by not offering him and stop slandering the guy. JMO.
Is this directed to me?

I guess you glossed over the numerous LSU fans who outlined exactly what happened and stated that Bama didn't give up in him.

Multiple people did, I assume you don't know how to read anything that doesn't fit into your Bamacentric world view. Not everyone is out to get the Tide, so you can call down.

Thanks for your input Perry Mason.

So, according to some LSU fans, Lacy is dumb as a rock, nothing special interms of talent, and unable to stay healthy for a season. No sour grapes there.
Any LSU fan saying he isn't talented is dumb. He should be the first rb taken this draft.

We certainly had room for 2 RBs and we definitely wanted Lacy. We didn't think he would qualify but he did. Lesson learned.
We didn't want Lacy. Period. We had almost no contact with him his senior year. Ford was considered , by everyone, the better back. Lacy has done well where he is at.

Anyone have a link to the claim that he needed 7 classes in the summer to qualify is this just another message board exaggertion that eventually gets accepted as fact.
I'm sure anyone can access a high schooler's academic records with a simple google search

So I'm hearing two different things right now and they are both wrong. I'm hearing from elleshoe that LSU didn't want Lacy. That is wrong. What about Lacy doesn't scream "Les Miles running back?" I'm also hearing that Lacy, having grown up 20 mins from BR, didn't want LSU. That is also wrong.
Yeah. We wanted lacy until it looked like he ha no chance of qualifying. We backed off his senior year and didnt have much contact with him.

We didn't BLOW shite. LSU has 3-5 GOOD backs. Lacy would be nothing more than pasty of our rotation. Not that he isn't great, but we run by committee.

Bama somehow got Lacy in school
Ya think they might have stretched the rules a bit?
Yeah because the NCAA is going to let Alabama, of all schools, "stretch the rules". Puff, puff, pass bruh.

My point exactly. So, where did this 7 classes in 1 summer claim originate? My guess: some anonymous poster on a message board. Seems legit.

Was there not a FERPA violation on this very board that discussed Edward K. Lacy and T Rich?

I don't know, was there? I know the guy working at Paige's school mentioned TRich, but I haven't heard anything about a FERPA violation involving Lacy.

Eddie Lacy stole more than half of his Boy Scout patches FWIW
Posted on 1/9/13 at 12:03 pm to Latarian
LSU was loaded at RB for that 2009 class so they didn't want Eddie. They signed Ford (4 star and good recruit) and Allen (3 star) (snicker) to dominate the 2009 class.

So why are you being indignant when it sounds like you haven't done any research on the matter. Just trying to argue procedurally rather than answer what is being said. Your post indicated that you thought no one could know what is being posited when time and again it has been proven that people on this board can apparently find these things out easier than certainly I thought was possible.
