It’s okay to be upset, I know what it feels like to watch your team decline, but just take it easy for now it gets worse, but it gets better again!

It will only get worse as he ages and coaches are able to negative recruit against him with ease.

Last night was a major blow to the Alabama brand and Nick Saban.

I think we may witness a once great dynasty spiral out of control into perpetual mediocrity.

We'd never sink to LSU's level.

I do have a feeling that bama is on the decline. I think they will still easily win the west a few more times, but I think UGA & clemson will stand in their way from winning championships. That, paired with losing coordinators every year, will probably slow down their recruiting prowess. And then not long after that the other west teams will close the gap.

Do you mean like the other time Dabo beat him? Seems like he won the very next year. You freaking people are delusional.

I don't understand?? I mean shite I am an LSU fan and I am not delusional enough to think that Nick is done. If anything this is the worst thing that could happen. shite like this will reinvigorate him.

What did you Baws say when USCe beat the tide much like last night?
If you think Saban is finished bet your pay check.

No, he'll be back. Bama was exposed a bit. Their corners aren't the greatest and their offensive line has to do a better job, but the SEC West is still theirs to lose. ...by quite a lot.

I actually think these two teams could actually meet again next season.

However, I do think Florida is on the cusp of also really challenging Alabama. Next year will be fun.

Nick Saban is getting older, it’s the natural order of things. You know a decline has to be coming, and it seems it may have started.

Yep, the same way way Florida, Okie, Utah, and LSU broke him. You know what a quitter he is.

Never saw his team quit in a game that matters, until last night.

The point is we’ve never seen Saban just give up on himself and his team in such a beta fashion. He’s always berated some poor player trying his best, belittle some coach calling the plays Little Nicky told him to call, or scream relentlessly at some ref he slipped a couple thousand to before a game because he wasn’t getting the calls he wanted. But last night you saw that perma-anger change into unfathomable sadness. At least Dabo seems like a good enough guy to leave a box of oatmeal cream pies and a Gatorade at his desk this morning after dropping the not so delicious variety in him last night.

Or it could be what propells success for the next 5 -7 years of Saban. Who knows really at this point but I agree it's one or the other.

Yes, it's as bad and worse. You didn't score a point, and on the one possession LSU crossed the 50 you got pushed back across the 50 and lost possession on a fourth down strip, sack, and recovery.

Miles was the head coach and Jordan Jefferson was the QB.

The GOAT coach just got beat by 28 despite having an elite offense and talent all over the field on defense.

Seems like a worse loss to me, given expectations.

In 2011/2012, the LSU base was pissed because Bama got a mulligan. Our former head coach, well it’s just not clear what he was thinking that night....if at all.

As for Saban, he is youthful at 67 and I would be surprised if he is done per se. Either this sparks him to additional greatness or he starts an incremental decline. I do wonder if the constant OC/DC changes of the last couple of years are having greater impact than Saban getting old. Continuity appears angreater concern.

Bama will retire Saban before they let it fall apart though.

Yes, we were embarrassed in the natty by our former coach, who we had beaten earlier that season. But is that as bad as getting beaten even worse over by a former player?

Apparently so, based on the fact that Bama fans were relatively calm last night, and LSU fans are still melting down about the 'mulligan,' 7 years later.

Y’all had fans saying Saban should be fired, I wouldn’t consider that calm.
