Doesn't tOSU and Meeechegan still have to play each other?

What is messed up is ONE SEC team in the top 10 and that isn't on the committee... If there ever was a year for two SEC teams, this was it and where does the SEC find itself?

LSU - getting their shite pushed in by Wisconsin early...

AU - letting a tire go flat on the bus, riding the spare until it blows...

aTm - doing their usual and collapsing when they actually play someone...

AND The SEC East not even fielding an all-star team between all of them...

Louisville best wins:

FSU (currently #17 in CFP rankings)

That's it, no more wins over ranked teams

Michigan's best wins:

Wisconsin (#7)
Penn State (#8)
Colorado (#10)

Michigan has much better wins. Louisville has the better loss.

The issue for most people, which is somewhat valid, is you see no change in the polls after a loss. However, teams 7-14 or whatever last week all had 2 losses, teams 5 and 6 last week had 1 and teams 1-4 had 0. When 2,3,4 lose they still only had one loss, which means they are at most dropping to 6. Michigan has the best resume of the teams that lost last weekend so they didn't drop. If they lose to OSU, they will drop 4 spots or so would be my guess

It was 16-14... We were driving to attempt a game winning FG. How is that:

Here is the dumbest thing about this. Right now the best thing for Ohio state is too not even win their division and lose the tie breaker to penn state. So they don't have to play an extra game to make the playoffs in a conference champ in which they could lose

So the best thing for then is for pennstate to finish ahead of them in playoffs

How fricking retarded is that. The best thing for a team to make playoffs is to not even win their division

Agreed

But I don't think there are many here would argue OSU has the resume to get in.

I think final ranking will be:

1. Bama - SEC Champ
2. Clemson - ACC Champ
3. Ohio State
4. 2-loss Big 10 Champ

Every fricking year with these guys. Most overrated person place or thing of all time ever. Oklahoma football. Jesus

I want to see how the committee will explain having Ohio State in the playoffs, but the Big 10 champion (either Wisconsin or Penn State) not in the playoffs.

If the above occurs, does a deliver the message that conferences are no longer needed and CFP should be from a group of about 40-45 teams?

Well the committee proves that for sure. Just be consistent. They aren't.

They are posturing to justify 2 Big 10 teams in the final by inflating the teams that the Big 10 teams have beaten, and inflating Penn State. (Colorado, Oklahoma, for example).

except they dont

every time a person from that committee gives an interview they give conflicting answers on what all they consider most important.

just the other day I was listening to one here on Dallas radio say that he mainly based his decisions on what football coaches told him.

he also said that list of things they look at they have on the website isn't in any kind of specific order that makes one item more important than the other.

Agree. It ain't near over. It seems the CFP Committee does a good job evaluating the whole body of work. The teams in the hunt can't slip up.

It will be fun to watch it unfold.

likely scenario of OSU winning out, and Wisconsin beating Penn St

IDK how likely that is. Michigan has a lot to play for and against Ohio State, you will see a much better performance from Harbaugh's guys. A fierce rivalry can play out in a lot of different ways. Michigan wins out and they will likely have to beat Wisky again. That is a tougher thing to do, really. That first game was a hard hitting defensive battle. Michigan will be able to run on the Buckeye defense. A lot of teams have this year. Their defensive backs are amongst the best in the country but if they have to play up towards the LOS they can be hit over the top. Don't look past this.

They are just trying to create drama for the OSU game. Then they will create drama for the conference championship game.

It's all about ratings and dollars... ratings and dollars

No. The best thing for them to do is win the B1G. If they don't win the conference, I see them coming in at #4 at best. This isn't the old polls. Once all of the conference championship really decided, the committee will look at all the teams with a clean slate. The current rankings are meaningless.

The fact that this committee exists is a mess up.

Agree 100%. If there's no penalty for losing then what's the point of all this?
