The best pros out of CMU and Cincinatti were brought in by Jones.

And Kelly record at CMU is better because kelly turned the shite program around and gifted it to jones

Only person I could come up with as well.

19-16 with 1 conference title > 27-13 with 2 conference titles

Joe Staley. the only pro bowler from either school.

So he did better than Kelly could even do with Kelly's players?

Well considering kelly started with a dumster fire and gifted him a better program, yes he had a better "record", thats about it.

at this point, it doesn't matter how Jones got where he is currently... but to gloss over the fact that Kelly had success immediately before BJ took the jobs doesn't tell the whole story.
Jones has been fortunate enough to inherit a couple of programs on solid footing... UT is anything but solid. How good is Jones at rebuilding a program?... no one knows b/c he hasn't done it yet (which doesn't necessarily mean he can't do it).

Nick Bellore, LBer NYJets
Josh Gordy, DB, Colts
Another OT was brought in by Butch will be a first rounder this year.

Kelly's Sugar Bowl team was great. Too bad it was the senior class of Mark Dantonio recruiting. :(
