I don't see Bama getting in with 2 losses with one caveat: Kirk Herbstreit and the media start calling for it. I've seen those clowns both set and destroy precedent too many times to think any different.

I honestly don't know. Like I said, I've been around long enough to know that the media pretty much sends who they want to send, damn win or losses (within reason of course). Winners get in, but those with one or 2 losses, the media picks them.

It seems the pressure is on UGA and the fans that continue to post about how bad UA looks demonstrates that.
Lets look at a few things. UGA has its best team since 1980(last century) maybe better. They have been dominating every opponent. Yet UA, who any UA fan will tell you, has not played like a contender all season. But Vegas has us anywhere from a 4 o 6 point underdog in Atlanta. Strange that UGA is such a powerhouse while UA has looked like garbage more so then not, yet the spread indicates that it will be a close game.
So why is the pressure on us? We are not expected to win but yet UGA on the other hand will have no excuse for a loss. Can Kirby take UGA to the promise land or not. That is where the pressure is.

There was no disrespect in my OP. Just calling it like I saw it. You guys can beat us. You have the talent, but it wasn't on display Sat. night, and it dang sure wasn't as the media today has portrayed it. That was my only point.

It hasn't been on display all season but what the media is seeing no matter the outcome of our games we are now 8-1 vs bowl eligible teams. Finished 1st in a division that has 4 teams ranked in the CFB rankings. And saw last night a team not give up where most would and endured. In a stadium where Saban has a losing record.
So ask yourself this outside of the Clemson game, who we all know now is not very good, what game did UGA have to come back from? What game did the players come together with emotion and determination to fight back for a win in the last few seconds? When was UGA challenged this season? Because those are factors that have to be considered. Why Vegas does not see UGA blowing out UA.

No and Yes. the concern for both teams now is UA will probably drop to 4th in the CFB p[layoff ranking come Tuesday with UM at 2 and Cincy at 3. The committee has made it clear that Cincy will get in if undefeated. UM wins they will get in without a doubt. So the big question what happens is Okie State, who should be #5 wins big and UA beat UGA. If UA were still 2 or even 3 I would think UGA gets in but with UA at 4 it almost guaranteed only 1 team rom the SEC gets in.
UGA wins(assuming others as well) it should UGA, UM, OSU, and Cincy in that order. If UA wins it will be UM, UA, OSU, and Cincy in that order.

I mean we gave up 159 yards on 66 plays - 2.41 YPP. And most of those snaps were either at or around mid-field while trailing in what equated to drives in which our defense couldn't let them get one damn first down. And they didn't. For about 10 straight drives. I don't care if you are playing a frickin DIII team, that's impressive as shite.
As for the offense, I mean it was garbage for 3 qtrs. Like, putrid bad. As bad as anything we've ever seen - and that includes the Shula era.....And then it put up 225 yards in the 4th qtr. When it's playing well it's very good. When it isn't we can be a total disaster.
