I think it was more even Bennett knew he didn’t belong there. He’s not even the best player on UGAs O much less a top 4 player in in the sport. His being there to begin with was likely a bot farm opt or he has a terminal illness and the make a wish foundation granted his wish.

The truth is Bennett exemplifies the qualifications/characteristics of a Heisman trophy winner more than Hooker. When Tennessee’s fanbase has to resort to calling him old and using bot farms to tear him down, it just shows how far their program has fallen and how great our program has been. They have nothing to be excited or happy about. Their program is in shambles and they will take a step back next year.

Not even close,
Bennett is not outstanding, has limited ability. He has the perseverance (6 years) and I’m sure he puts in hard work but so do most P5 players. But it’s not a body of work award as his body of work doesn’t stand out.
Side by side to Hooker, Bennett is a joke as a Heisman finalist.

I think finding a way to win every game you play is pretty outstanding. Putting up the numbers Stetson has put up in the first three quarters is pretty outstanding. Stetson usually has a three score lead by the fourth quarter. He rarely passes in the last quarter. Hooker was lit up by South Carolina, and therefore does not belong.
