Did a caller tell Finebaum “A hitman is a lot cheaper than a 95 million dollar buy out”?

I don’t watch pawl so I don’t know if this is true, but this tweet is going viral.

Brooks Bryant Twitter
quote:

An A&M fan just told Finebaum “A hitman is a lot cheaper than a 95 million dollar buy out”.

Things are going well.

Did that actually happen?

I was actually worrying about this the other day.. Aggie Fans are unhinged and I wouldn’t put it past them. They think they are paramilitary and might use some of their tactics.

I've been wondering when something like this would happen. There's no way these boards can keep paying these massive buyouts. It's not a bad idea actually.

Self reporting violations to the NCAA is cheaper too.

It isn't like they want to play bowl games anyway.

Who doesn't? I think they use Angie's List now, so must be legit.

I doubt this was an A&M fan. They don't have sidewalk fans like the rest of the SEC. Only grads of that school support them.

Furthermore, Finebaum has a long history of faking calls to generate controversy. That was probably one of his producers calling in.

This photo of an aggie cadet pulling his sword out aggressively in attacking that cheerleader reminds me when another cadets pulled their swords out on LSU fans. A big win for the Tigers. Post game, LSU fans, led by Mike were teasingly dashing back & forth across the field ( in violation of an aggie tradition that only aggies could step on their field). As the fans approached one sideline, the cadets confronted them, swords out. Immediately another group of fans from that sideline dashed back across the field. This went on for a good 20 minutes & the cadets were getting more & more agitated, swords almost shaking. Finally police came out ...but not on the field....and broke everything up. Mike ended up standing in the nearby endzone, leaning against the goal post, smoking a huge cigar .

Most Alabama fans draw the line of trees.
