Congrats to Smith!

Justin Jefferson and the bitches from last year's LSU team don't even compare

Same Jefferson that just put up the best season for a rookie WR in the super bowl era?

I agree.

Apparently, the voters for the Heisman Trophy do as well.

Congratulations. As an LSU fan, the young man was fun to watch. Except when he was torching us. Great season and well deserved.

Smith will destroy that number if that scrub who didn't even get invited to the Heisman ceremony did it

Congrats to Devonta Smith!!! Well earned. Roll Tide!!! But as we all know winning a trophy for yourself is nice but winning a ring for yourself and teammates is a whole lot better. Now go finish the job and win this next one!!!!

Willy posts that like it doesn't help his Heisman highlights. He held the ball on a big hit and went on to torch the defending champs for 2nd year in a row.

Why is it so hard for people to understand the nuance of this Heisman?

It’s not like Devonta Smith overnight went from one of the most elite WR’s in CFB to a walking demigod.

He got a perfect situation, took advantage of it, and made millions and a Heisman off of it.

I’m glad it happened though because it’s likely the only time a WR will win it for a while, because of how unlikely those circumstances are, especially at an elite program like Alabama

Like Burrow from 2018 to 2019. You're exactly right; timing, curcumstance, and context make huge differences. Although Devonta was solid for 4 years as a big time player with star potential.

Congrats Devonta.

I cant say its been fun, but the way he torches defenses is a pleasure to watch.

Huh? Burrow didn’t have anyone get injured for him to win the Heisman. What do you mean?
