m as deveped into that kind of passer in the NFL WQatson had an amazing gam in the championship, but I don't think he was quite at that level. Lets revisit after next season, but Watson is certainly in the conversation at this point

You must have a short memory, no one is better than college Cam,. Certianly not Watson, yet. That being said, I think Watson could find himself on that short list of unstoppable college QBs of he last 5-10 years.

Shula Cam is a much better QB than Dabo Cam up to their sophomore year.
While Shula Cam had a good sophomore year, he also had 19 interceptions at the JR College level.
Lets see had Dabo Cam does his junior year then compare the two.

If Cam would have played 3 years in college he would have won 3 Heismans and at least 2 titles. Sorry but Cam was the most dominant SEC football player of our generation. He was simply unstoppable.

Newton... He dominated the SEC West and made the opposing team look like a youth football program on a weekly basis.
He's also a far better runner and has the "it" factor. In the end, Cam got it done and won a title, Watson hasn't.

Cam was an unbelievable running threat, moreso than Watson. When it was 3rd and 4 or less, you knew the QB draw was coming and it was almost unstoppable.
I think Watson is a better passer at this stage than Cam was, though. Watson can drop a pass in on a dime, and he has incredible touch when he needs to. Cam's passes are all rockets, and while that displays unbelievable arm strength he often lacks the touch to float an easy catch in to the WR, even now.
Cam is a once a decade football talent and if I'm building a team I'd probably take him. A better comparison would be Watson vs RG3 since RG3 was more of a pure passer who happened to be really fast, kind of how I see Watson.
