Your right. Not even close to being the best running back. You must be young

You're right...you're not even close. Herschel Walker's the best to ever come out of the NCAA college ranks (and he came out of the SEC).

Herschel was great, but he’s no Derrick Henry.

He's good but generations of RBs got taken down by injuries that guys bounce back from today bc surgery is so much better. Henry is def. one of the all time greats but I shy away from any kind of singular GOAT. Too many great athletes for that.

Probably true in terms of peak dominance, but Emmitt still has the most yards ever.

Not sure I'm ready to say he's the best with confidence, but I do think it is time to get rid of this lazy thought process that Bo and Herschel can never be questioned for all perpetuity. Neither had elite pro careers, and Henry's Heisman season can match well with either of Bo or Herschel's best college seasons.

Henry is currently in the greatest 40, well I guess 41 now, game stretch for a RB in NFL history.

Agreed - there are others in the conversation. Emmitt Smith did ok in the NFL.

I know he didn’t come out of the SEC, but my favorite is Barry Sanders. He’s the best I’ve ever seen.

Sanders #1 overall.
Bo best SEC RB.

Henry has dominated at every level from HS to pro. He absolutely is building GOAT case for himself.

Doesn't mean Herschel wasn't great.

There’s this Smith guy who came out of the SEC that’s the all time leading rusher in NFL history and also has 3 Super Bowl rings.

Dunno, maybe you’ve heard of him?

Remember the NFL is now a passing game. Running the football is an anomaly today and Defenses are not designed to primarily stopping the run. Totally different NFL from when Bo and Herschel played.
