I had a dream the other night that the Braves season ended in game 5 of the NLDS against the Brewers when Freeman sac bunted into a double play with Chipper on 1st and Uggla on deck. Sadly, I can see that nightmare becoming reality. Frediot's propensity for spontaneous retardation knows no limit.

Bunts and solo shots are the only way to score, everyone knows that.

Shula was able to recruit alot of talent that made a big difference in 2009.

McElroy - After Tebow passed on him.
McClain - Before he learned how to itimidate people using MOB tactics.
Arenas - 1 star turned badass.
Erik Anders - Legit College football linebacker. made some big plays. Had no D-1 offers, I think.

Bama was always competitive under him.

Never beat Auburn or LSU, went 1-3 against Tennessee. Lost to Northern Illinois and Minnesota, got blown out by Ole Miss and South Carolina.

Meh...

That's why they LIKED him. It's best when rival fans hate your coach. That means he's winning.

That's like asking which pile of cow shite smells better.

I'm not knocking the guys as people because I really do think both Shula and Dooley are great guys that got thrown in to a bad situation, but not good as head coaches

Shula had a ten win season and a top ten finish. Dooley will never have a year like that. Shula also spent four seasons as the offensive coordinator for a future HOF HC (Tony Dungy) in the NFL and did a hell of a job developing David Garrard and Cam Newton as a QBs coach. He's a far better and more qualified coach than Dooley is at Tennessee.

Ironic how, like Dooley at Tennessee we were competitive for a half, then the lack of depth kicked in,and we would get shelled in the second half, most times anyway...
