:kige:

its boring because the only case anyone can make for Michigan is that Denard is going to have some sort of super-human performance.

Not entirely true.

2004: 421 YPG, 32.1 PPG
2005: 410 YPG, 32.2 PPG

Correct But the point is that Borges can coach, even without all the talent AU had in 2004. Tuberville reined him in in 06 and 07. And Brandon Cox couldn't throw past 20 yards his last couple of years.

But I don't think UM holds a candle to Bama. And I don't think Robinson finishes the game (concussion). Bama wins BIG.

I don't think the spread will be very large. Alabama will dominate the game and not have to blow them out.

I'm not calling out Borges. I know he's solid. Saban supposedly wanted him in 2008. That being said, they only have Robinson on offense. Their inexperienced OL is not going to match up well with our front seven. That's never good when going against a Saban defense.

My other issue in this thread was the Bucknut that thought Saban "was probably better" than Hoke.

IDC about the fans. That 8 by Michigan's name is blasphemous. They have no business being in the top 15 let alone top ten. I'm sure it will be shoved down our throats all year how bama beat a top ten team on the road.

In regards to the Saban thing I was only saying that Hoke hasn't had time in big time programs to see if he's a great coach. Saban is already established as a great coach. 10 years ago people would laugh at you if you said Saban was a great coach

Alabama can make a 10-14 point victory seem like an arse whooping.

that VT team in 09 was better than this Michigan team. the hokies had some NFL guys on D and were stacked at RB. Michigan has a slot reciever at qb and thats about it

Maybe you forgot Saban is 2-1 versus Meyer. Including two blowouts and a heart attack.

The game is going to be closer than most people on secr are projecting. 27-16 BAMA with the majority of the game the score only being within 1 possession until the 4th qtr. Conversely I think the matchup most people are overlooking is BAMA's O vs Michigan's D. I think BAMA has a considerable advantage on O.

Mike Trout is probably a better player than this kid I saw in the little league world series a few weeks ago.
