He will be one of, if not the best DB in the SEC this year, but he will not win the Heisman.

If Saban will let him return kicks he could be in the discussion. Between AJ, T.J., C.J., Cooper and Belue it looks like Bama will lead the nation in conteders. Probably will be too much vote splitting for anyone of them to win - Bama player problems.

He has a chance to be a productive CB for Alabama in 2013, but he doesn't even have the highest cieling among those on the roster. Much less a chance at a Heisman. Jeesh.

I honestly expect Mettenburger to win the Heisman. Maybe Belue will develop into a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick though.

You also expect Saban to return to LSU. GTFO.

He was a productive CB last year. This year he has the chance to be a shutdown CB for Alabama.

Seriously, I mean if Te'o can be the runner up...
Does Deion Belue have the media love-fest behind him? A close family member dying during the season? A girlfriend dying, that everyone just so happen to think was real?

He doesn't have any of that behind him, and bolded was the absolute most important...

Also look at where Patrick Peterson and Tyrann Mathieu finished on the Heisman ballot, and Deion Belue probably won't have near the season the other two had.

Belue overcame the death of his puppy, his sippy cup spilling, AND Saban being a meanie meanie poopoo pants.

Sounds more like something Junior Rosegreen and Kenny Irons had to overcome, minus Nick Saban being a meanie meanie poopoo pants...

BTW, the death of the puppy was caused by it eating their crayons.

Belue and Kenny Bell are the face of crayon eating, I'll have you know.

Probably comparing him to the jump that Dee and M. Johnson made after their first year.

All of our CBs suck it up a bit in their first year, only to make a big improvement the next year. Even in the BCSCG (and A-Day) Belue started showing that jump. I don't know if he can be a shutdown CB, but he can be a top ten CB nationally.

This just has to be said...

Why doesn't Deion Belue get the same reputation as Tyann Mathieu? TM7 had one bad game (wasn't even that bad of a game, he gave up 4 catches), and everyone assumes he's a terrible cornerback. John Fulton got absolutely abused when going against Mike Evans last season against Texas A&M. Should be get the reputation of being terrible at coverage?
