Does anyone know where I can find who the starting pitchers will be on Tuesday?
We'll probably start one of our freshies. DVH has shown he gives very little fricks about the SEC tourney.

This. He does seem to check out in Hoover. Any idea why this is? An SEC tournament championship isn't something to scoff at, granted it's nowhere near the pinnacle of the regular season championship, but it's a good accomplishment but nothing to hang a banner about.

Not sure who LSU will be throwing on Wednesday, probably Cody Glenn, but it looks like they moved Nola back to Thursday.

I think this is to set us up for the regional since Glenn will go Friday and Nola Saturday.

ETA: Also, I'm pretty sure he appreciates an extra week of rest/organized practice for his players way more than fighting for a pointless trophy that resembles a "dunce" hat.

For teams already in the NCAAT, the SECT should be used to prepare for the NCAA run. Bubble teams should be using it as a way to gain entry.

It doesn't really mean all that much other than to be a talking point. I mean, it was cool when LSU won a few in a row, but it didn't really matter. Regular season title holds more prestige. And it's the least important tournament. And most difficult until the CWS.

@MHarrisAdvocate: Surprise: #LSU will trot out Cody Glenn on Wednesday, and save Aaron Nola for Thursday, and a potential match-up with Arkansas Ryne Stanek.

I doubt anyone sees Stanek during the tourney unless we somehow win a game.
