What good does extra practices do? If not in the playoffs the next game after the bowl game is 7-8 months away.

So by what objective measure do you think ND deserved to be admitted to the CFP over Bama?

Again, I never said that. Try sticking to what I've actually said. Remember, this started with me calling you stupid and you haven't moved the needle.

Absent the SECCG the losses would be even.

Yes because losing to #7 and #10 by a combined 4 points is the same as losing to a 5-7 FSU by 14 points where the game was actually worse than that difference.

ND are a bunch of soft pussies.

If they want an almost sure way into the CFP then they should join the Big 12 conference. The ACC might be too tough for them.

I'm not complaining. I don't care. I'm just roasting Alabama for complaining about Notre Dame declining a meaningless bowl game when they themselves have been arguing for the last 24 hours that they deserved in because they were absolutely crushed in a game they called meaningless. Even though the bowl game Notre Dame just opted out of is far and away more meaningless than the game than the one Alabama was curb stomped in.

Surely you understand this. If not, some of you people really need to take up reading books as a side hobby.

Do you even know what you’re arguing in favor of?

I am just pointing out your hypocrisy. As I've already stated.

Alabama Fans: "Don't pay attention to when we just got punched in the dick by Georgia! That game was meaningless!"

Also Alabama Fans: "How dare Notre Dame opt out of a game less meaningful than the ones we just got punched in the dick in!"

It's frickin comical.

The FSU loss is the one objective advantage ND has IMO.

They really did Bama dirty by winning and completely collapsing.

Is there actually a reason to do this?

Why not make money and get more player development?

I don’t get it

The players make this the way it is. It's been happening for a few years now.

Bama split with UGA with the win being in Athens at night.

Which one carries hardware with it?

Are you honestly arguing that a 3-point win in Athens that was highly contested until into the fourth quarter is the same as what we all witnessed yesterday?

Both count as W's for their respective teams, but those wins could not be more different.

Neither Dame or Bama should be in.

Yesterday showed what a good defensive mind can do in a rematch with a one dimensional offense.

Alabama is going to be crushed by Oklahoma, for as good as Smart is, Venables is better (defensively).

Extra bowl practices really lose their appeal when your roster flips over every season anyway. How many bowl players are going to be there next season?

I get the roster turnover deal but there’s plenty of returning fresh/soph + backups that would play

Congrats on your win, the fact that it was for the SECCG is why yall are #3 and Bama was an at-large.

That said it has nothing to do with talking resumes with at-large teams.

So it’s not like Bama hasn’t already shown it can beat UGA, and they have a resume of wins and SOS that none of the other teams involved in the at large process have which is why they objectively deserved to be picked over ND and Miami.
