He got to the Natty beating Texas and Oregon twice. And thats with finishing #30 in recruiting. Imagine what he'll do with all the talent on our team.

Kiffin is better than Kelly. Ole Miss will be in the hunt this year and LSU will not!

If we hired Freeze or Drink we would have been laughed out of the SEC. I like Sark and his redemption story but this was his first good season in like 10 tries. Kiffin I would have taken but I can’t tell if he is really serious or not.

The odds say that's right.
This isn't to say he can't be better than all of them.
But the odds he's better than Kirby are low and 50/50 with BK.
Don't know how good he is at recruiting. That'll be huge as to where he ends up on the Kelly to Smart spectrum.

This was the best hire outside of Lanning that was out there for anyone in Bama's position IMO. Pipe dream thinking Kirby or Demeco would come.
I understand those who like Deboer better than Lanning and think he was the best hire that could've been made. Certainly an argument for that.
The reason I like Lanning more is you don't really have a question with recruiting and he's shown at a young age he can handle a program closer to Alabama in resources really well. Also familiar with the area.

Ole Miss is going for broke on one season. Kelly is building something lasting. Your replacement will lose to both in the short term and will be fired when Kelly is winning the natty.
