No, no, I get that. I get that by saying what I said, I’m ultimately giving him what he wants. My question is... why would he, or anyone, want that? Has our society simply become so attention-starved that any attention at all, no matter what it is for or how poorly it may reflect upon the person being paid attention to, is considered a positive?

2018 Bama stomps, 2012 ND was overrated and that game they called the national championship was a joke. The real national championship took place in Atlanta a month earlier

I know this is a typical troll thread by certain LSU fans, but I would like to point out 2018 Bama's average margin of victory was about 2x as much as ND's in 2012. ND's defense was great but their offense was 81st in scoring.

It’s a different era of football though so margin of victory is skewed. Back in 2012 all you needed to do was win. Now you need to win big. You need style points.

See that screams SEC goggles. Alabama got thumped just as hard, if not more so. But you’re calling out ND for being overrated while saying Alabama just played a better opponent.
Obviously both were outmatched. This is what makes it so interesting.
Which of the outmatched was truly more outmatched?
It’s easy to say Notre Dame as fans of another SEC team, but I think it’s closer than most want to believe.
