Don't see anyone saying he's a bad coach. If he'd had any sort of success against elite teams in big games, his record wouldn't be criticized at all. But when he plays other talented programs, he either struggles or gets beat down.
What would you say his top 3 best wins are since arriving at ND?

Coach Kelly has never been considered a top prospect from any program. I highly doubt LSU is any different

The last two times alabama has played Kelly he has been raped to the tune of 73-28, so he will fit right in at LSU

I agree, melt is a very misused term on this site. It’s often used as a tactic to dismiss a valid opinion or just when someone can’t come up with a decent response. It’s very similar to the use of the term “butthurt”.
This site is full of trolls and shitposters - I don’t really get the thrill these types of posters get from this MO, but apparently it gives lots of folks their jollies.

Come on everybody, let corn dog have his day. They managed to recruit the tallest midget to be their next head coach. Proud of the fact that the best they could lure in was their 7th or 8th choice. A coach ND did not even try to counter offer. He had a typical ND season. Only played one top 25 team and lost. Nearly lost to Purdue. Alumni were over him and ready to get a coach that could bring back a natty. He has been a good coach for a long time just can't seem to win the big ones.
The other funny thing about this hire is that he was not on anybody's radar on this board as a possibility. Just goes to show you that the corndog posters on this board don't know anything about what goes on inside their program.
