quote:
"I will be happy to take a polygraph test on these specific issues and challenge them to do so as well." Sheridan said ... "I told them that I would honor their request to say 'no comment' when asked about what was said in the meeting ... Of course, all bets are off when they released that statement."
So, if this wasn't taken out of context, now he's not hiding behind somebody putting up big money for a polygraph, he will take one and wants the NCAA brass to take one, too. If so, that's gold.

Danny has been reading a little William Congreve, I believe...

Last sentence:
"The NCAA has never implicated Auburn in its investigation of Newton's recruitment."
"The NCAA has never implicated Auburn in its investigation of Newton's recruitment."

For the NCAA to claim I did anything else is specious, deceitful, disingenuous and completely false

NCAA:
DS:
quote:
As a matter of due diligence, the NCAA spoke with Sheridan this week to determine if he had any facts pertaining to the investigation. Sheridan, however, did not provide any information to the enforcement staff and certainly did not provide a name.
DS:

"I also politely declined to share the name of the individual I have been told gave money to Cecil Newton. For the NCAA to claim I did anything else is specious, deceitful, disingenuous and completely false.

Just like a bad relationship, you are the last to know when it's over.

You've been believing every single word Sheridan has said since the first day he claimed to have the bagman's name
The same brain that allows you to blindly believe him is the same brain that doesn't register how foolish it makes you look.

One of them would have eventually drifted over to Poets' Corner in the Abbey and figured it out.
