Well, technically it has. His original quote implies he would tell Finebaum off the air, which he has not offered to do, since he stressed he might not announce the name on the air.
Surprised Finebaum hasn't pursued it.

A couple of reasons:
1) Finebaum wouldn't be pissed.
2) Finebaum would be crowing about knowing and how it would "rock the Auburn family."

Dude, even as a mortal enemy of Auburn...you look silly trying to defend Sheridan on this issue. Not revealing names today pretty much destroyed any credibility or reputation that he had.
Sheridan made himself into a punch line today. It is ok to admit the obvious. It doesnt make your opinions and hatred of Auburn any less passionate.

And then he went on several other shows telling people that he was going to prove to all of the "nay sayers" that he had a name. How would he go about doing that?

Maybe the info can't be proven. If they need the alleged witness to come forward to prove the alleged bagman actually paid Cam, then they really don't know jackshit. At best, they have a "person of interest."
