I said this based on a pattern of responses made by a certain group of Auburn fans who believe that the Auburn family in general is above board in their recruiting practices, and that Alabama fans have tried, repeatedly, to drag their program through the mud to no avail.
This response was confirmed by hubris, which Crimson Crazy pointed out.
My reason for saying what I did was to point out that all programs, at some point, do things that aren't exactly above board with regard to the NCAA. One never knows when an allegation will stick. As an example, I cited Reggie Bush.
Most of my friends who have gone to Auburn have been thankful that nothing has been proven, but few actually think that with the state of college athletics the way that it is, their program is squeaky clean. In the same way, most people who are Alabama fans admit that the TTown Menswear thing appeared shady. We are glad that that to this point, nothing has come of it.
And finally, DS can be both full of shite and have information. The two are not mutually exclusive.
