To my knowledge the woman only wanted Guice to be suspended for the Citrus Bowl game. She wasn't looking of money. What does she have to gain here by lying?

I can see where in some cases it is for the money but as you said I don't know what she has to gain.
Orgeron didn't really incriminate himself when he said he "didn't remember" but if they have records of him talking to her and nothing done about it the situation gets heated 10X what it is now.
He has put a buffer out right now but will get interesting if documents contradict him.
Sad situation all around.

Yeah, I laugh at people suggesting this lady was out to profit somehow. A 70 year old black grandma just decided out of the blue she was gonna ruin Derrius Guice's life. Sounds like strong motive there to me.
And she was so hellbent on shaking him (and LSU) down that she let it go for 3 years until Husch Blackwell dredged it up. She said she gave it up to God and was gonna let Him deal with Guice.
I totally believe her when she says all she wants is some respect and accountability. I wouldn't be shocked if LSU does make her a settlement offer someday soon just to try to make this go away.

Guice was one of my favorite players, I thought he was a better all around back than LF7 at LSU but now its looking like he was tPOS.

The issue comes when he changed his story. First he said that he did not speak to her and now he's saying that he doesn't remember. Yes, if he didn't remember then it could make some sense that he said that he didn't speak to her. But, he admitted to having second hand knowledge of the incident. It just doesn't make any sense that he would remember being told about it but not remember calling the woman about such a bizarre situation.
The woman claims that Guice was in the office when O called her and wanted to let Guice apologize but she refused to talk to him. There also hasn't been any public denial that the incident happened the way that she described it.

I don't get why he is still doing radio spots every Tuesday morning. Last week it was the crap about not interviewing his assistants last year and today it was "I truly don't remember talking to her." What the hell is it gonna be next week?
