No one is surprised that UGA is cheating. Kirby wants to be Saban.
Here’s the difference, bama isn’t cheating. Why would you have to cheat? You show the trophy and the players in the league. You can’t deny the money you’ll make in 4 years if you put the work in. I’m an Auburn fan, but there’s no question that Saban is the best in the business and the best ever to coach CFB.

Speculation on UGA cheating and Straws... like a fly to shite. 
Let's just replay back what has been said for eternity.
UGA with Mark Richt - Rest of SEC: "I don't understand why they aren't better... such a sleeping giant. They should be recruiting much better than they are."
UGA with Kirby Smart - Rest of SEC:"ZOMG... how on earth are they recruiting so well. They must be cheating way worse than just normal cheating... it's like super cheating."
What is it exactly that everyone thinks that UGA is doing that is different than other schools? Just straight up cash bags?

Where did I make that claim? I'm simply asking... legitimately. If UGA is somehow cheating at this astronomical level compared to the rest of the SEC, which every rational person admits there is mild to moderate cheating at a minimum at every program... what is it that we're doing? Someone somewhere has to have an idea, right? Or are we just throwing out speculation and wishing it to be so?

Had you chose another recruit not name Fields I would have agreed with you but he came to UGA because he thought (and probably was right) that he could beat out Fields and Eason after watching our Spring game. That's straight from Pablo's mouth.
I'm not saying we didn't cheat to get him but not at an absurd level that you're insisting on.

Mullen cheating? Well, he sure isn't doing it right.
Every program may break a rule but cheating on the level UGA is and Bama has....I doubt it.

Yeah, I can buy that. Can't say it hasn't worked out for Fields.
If anything, the argument probably comes from UGA consistently getting top-tier depth on the lines.
They didn't originally catch Lance Armstrong cheating. They noticed that he always beat people who they had caught cheating and went from there.

See the thing you are overlooking is this, if other schools are paying players your trophy case is likely not out recruiting them. So you have to cheat too. That’s the thing, all the programs cheat. Which is why whenever the NCAA does a deep dive into a program they will find something.
It all comes down to how bad the offense is perceived in the current social political landscape and your programs relative power within the structure. The latter of course usually just lessens how deep the dive goes.

Every team cheats to one extent or another in recruiting. The question is whether you are going to get caught. Looks like Pruitt and Smart both may have gotten caught
