The only way this is even applicable to the matter at hand is who those students donate their money back to and choose to support. I've never seen an MSU fan that went to grad school at OM and became an OM fan.
The education they received was from Ole Miss and that means we are responsible for them making their salary. Them not being a fan of Ole Miss in sports is irrelevant. It's about academics.

In the end -- how our alumni networks are doing financially can be seen in each school's bottom line -- and for the past decade or so, MSU has been kicking arse and taking names financially while OM has faltered somewhat compared to their historic values.
Gonna need to see these numbers

I have another stat... It separates the Dawgs from everyone else in the conference.
515–549–39 (.485)

Yes because it counters your point of saying an abundance of supply will drive the pay down.
When did there become an abundance of supply of fortune 500 CEO's?

There is an abundance of male CEOs compared to female CEOs, but females still make significantly less.
And in what way is having females "necessary" in the CEO world -- compared to the cheerleading world, where it is absolutely necessary to have a number of males to compete at a high level.
You are simply making an apples to oranges comparison.

It is absolutely not necessary for there to be male cheerleaders, but it is necessary to have females (take a look at the Aggies to confirm that).
Your statement that it is not necessary for there to be female CEOs is pretty ignorant because it is not "necessary" for there to be male CEOs for a business to succeed either. And again, it is percentages, not numbers. It is ridiculous that only 2% of females make up Fortune 500 CEOs AND that their pay is significantly less.
I'll agree that cheerleaders and CEOs are not equal, but that was not the point of the matter. I see the disparity on a regular basis in the business world.

Posted them here many times before. Do you really need to see them again? Because the level of butt hurt that flows with those numbers is excessive...

Wrong.
Do I need to tear this one apart as well? Done that before too...

Why is there male cheerleaders on every advanced collegiate competition cheerleading squad? Because their strength is needed in advanced routines -- and that strength can not be mimicked by females. Hence why those males are in higher demand than the female counterparts -- in the same way that a girl with a gymnastics and advanced tumbling background is in higher demand than one that doesn't have those things...

You are -- again -- trying to turn what I said into a straw man argument about something completely different.

So, you concede that this is straw man?
And I don't see any disparity in either of my professional fields -- either current or former.
If this happened in the manner in which it is alleged, and was as prevalent as alleged, it would be front page news every day of our lives.

shite, we need to soften up our schedule. When do we get Florida again? They are our bitch. Just ask Tim Tebow.

They had some undeserved probations due to false wrongdoings reported by Ole Miss boosters over the years. It's a shame really.

At the collegiate level there is also such a thing as an all girl division, but not one for an all male division. Also, at high school camps, unless there were co-ed squads, the males were utilized, but not necessary. In high school the vast majority of squads are all female. At the college level, they are mostly coed, so I will give it to you that they are necessary to teach the camps.
As for the rest, I gave 2 completely different scenarios where women make less than men for a job with similar responsibilities. I was never trying to say they were equal jobs, so I'm sorry you took it that way.
