I will say this, I DO wish that we'd see more SEC v PAC-10 non-conference games. I get tired of seeing the SEC beat up on Big 10, Big 12 and ACC teams all the time.

they've been writing bullshite about us since football and newspapers were around. i wish someone here could link the article that blasted alabama a long time ago.. it would never be legit journalism in a newspaper this time of day... but shite was less pc back then.

anyway, those west coast people HATE southern football. i hate yankees, but they seem to appreciate the sport more than some of the people that represent the fa.ggoty west coast.

Shortsighted selfish reasons. You do realize it hurts Bama for us to lose this game right? If Bama is left out of the NC in a tie because PAC10 is viewed with more power along with an undefeated non-AQ you better not be bitching.

Should you root for Auburn, no. Should you root for Oregon to get their asses kicked. Yes.

populations
CA- 37.3 mil
AZ- 6.4 mil
OR- 3.8 mil
WA- 6.7 mil
total- 54.2 mil

AL- 4.8
AR- 2.9
LA- 4.5
GA- 9.7
TN- 6.3
SC- 4.6
FL- 18.9
total- 51.7 mil

the sec has a smaller talent pool with two more teams to divide up the talent within the conference, not to mention ACC teams like FSU, Clemson, Miami, and UNC that also pick up top prospects from the south

this proves that not only does the south produce much more talent, but also does a better job of coaching it since a total of as the sec produced twice as many bowl teams as the pac 10 did

other than stanford and oregon, the pac 10 wasnt worth shite this year, the only other team to win 8 games was USC, im tired of all the media bullshite about how good the pac 10 was this year

Didn't the LA Times also predict that Miami will destroy Alabama in the Sugar Bowl back in '93? We all saw how well that prediction turned out for them.

Bill Plaschke is the odds-on favorite to replace John Edwards as the Biggest Douche in Universe.

This sure reminds me of the article written before Bama's 1992 championship game, when the writer said we had absolutely no chance.

Dammit, I don't need these frickers to keep giving me reasons to pull for Auburn...

frick
AUBURN
frick
NO

i will NOT pull for auburn. i hate your fans bad enough to say damn the rest... i hope you get throttled by that oregon offense and can't recover... i hope it makes your recruits rethink their non-in-stone decision to go to that cesspool of a program!

lets do a hypothetical head to head matchup top to bottom

Oregon v Auburn (we'll see this one played out)
Stanford v Arkansas
USC v LSU
Washington v Alabama
Oregon St v South Carolina
Arizona St v Mississippi St
Arizona v Florida
Cal v Georgia
UCLA v Tennessee
Washington St v Kentucky

other than Stanford over Arkansas there isnt a single matchup in which i'd take the pac 10

No, this is not true. It "may" be true for the Arkansas, USC, Ole Miss, MSU's and Auburn's of the SEC who don't have the national recognition and long standing tradition but it is not of the Alabama, Florida and most recently LSU's. The bottom line is, if Alabama goes undefeated they WILL be in the National Championship game period.

Is that fair? Probably not. Is that life and reality? Yes.

wrong. if we had been in auburn's position in 2004, we'd have been shunned too. believe it or not... that's the damn truth. there IS some semblance of a system they have to follow.

the two top ranked teams remained undefeated all season and they were both money maker schools. we'd have suffered the same sequence of events that auburn did.

but it's just beautiful that auburn did. perhaps God will keep them from winning on monday night... it's only right.

Cal beats Georgia and UCLA beats UT. The SEC East surpassed the now defunct Big 12 North as the bastion of mediocrity this year.

i hate auburn and love alabama as much as ANY alabama fan, but i'm not a liar and i see shite for how it is.

it's poetic beauty that auburn got left out in 2004, but it was fair and right and it would have happened to anyone else too.
