LSU failed to make the playoffs 7 times. Alabama failed to make them 1 time.

7>1

Coincidentally, Alabama is 7-1 against LSU during the playoff era.

Tennessee was the most physical team in the country in the 90s. Great weight room program

Lol. Obviously you didn’t see Nebraska in the 90’s

You’d cut off both your nuts - correction, they probably already have been - if LSU could have Bama’s CFP record.

This reminds me of an old SNL skit where a guy was interviewing Liberace and Michael Jackson as ladies’ men. I just found a transcription of that skit (amazing what you can find on the internet)… When you read Michael Jackson’s response to the question, I think you’ll see why I made the connection.

Lenny: Hey, I'm gonna ask you both this. I'm a regular guy, right? So, say I wanna like, y'know hit on a woman, there. What do I gotta say to allow her -- so I can jump her bones, eh? What do I gotta say?

Michael Jackson: You know, it's funny you use that expression "jump her bones." You know, that's exactly what I say to a girl when I wanna get to know her. I walk up to her and I say, "Hey, baby, I've got to jump your bones." Nine of the times, I get my face slapped, but that tenth one: it's magic. It's wonderful.

Alabama had the same number of SEC titles as Tennessee in the 90s.

And the same number of national titles

If Fulmer had not lied and got Alabama sanctioned then Tennessee probably does not win either title (SEC or NC).

As it is, it was those lies that led to the second halcyon days of Alabama football.

Alabama would have "jumped her bones" 9 out of 10 times

No, just 59% of them

To be fair, when Stallings walked away. A lot of bad things happened for Bama until Saban arrived.

Tennessee and Fulmer OWNED Bama in the 90s so badly that we still live rent free in their heads. Fulmer didn't want to just beat them. He wanted to destroy their program. Fulmer, Cutliffe and Chavis were the best coaching trio in the country during that time.
