relished an Iron Bowl victory more than 2002 when AU went into Tuscaloosa with a converted TE for a FB, a 4th-string true freshman white tailback and whipped Fran's mouthy arse 17-7. It was 17-0 most of the game and the game wasn't even that close. Frick Fran. He's a douche.

Man, the good ole days. Winning 10 games, putting up fingers, beatin Bammer.

He ruined both of them by shoehorning them into option offenses.

I can see that but was an A&M fan when I was younger and Reggie will always been one of my favorite players

That year before Fran switched to the option offense his offense was pretty badass and Reggie was a stud. He was a lot of fun to watch.

Laugh all you want.

Those in the know... know 100% that Fran "checked out" well before the Auburn game. We were as unprepared as we could have been.

If Franchione had stayed at Bama, there is no doubt in my mind that he would have been successful. Ultimately, though, he just didn't have the stones for the job. He left with a cloud of disgrace and disgust.

Oh, I will, but I really don't need your permission to do so.

Seriously, y'all really need to drop this pathetic excuse for having your heavily favored team humiliated by an injury-riddled Auburn team.

Just say, "We beat ourselves!" and move on.

He checked out and he actively thought it could take the sting off for when he left. Get them to hate you already, maybe it won't be so bad. History records this as the truth.

You must remember it well. You're making it clear that deep down you know it's true. It's okay. It is what it is. Time to move on.

You're the one who won't let go of your little fantasy, not me.

You brought it up.

Must really burn after all these years.

So strange to see Auburn folks living so hard in the past.

I did, in my tribute to Fran.

I admit it. I'm still a little mad about Fran throwing the Iron Bowl.
