Those are not included, they are free to play.

Such a childish view of the situation

Your LSU hate clouds better judgement

It's fun seeing the simpletons here not be able to comprehend that this has nothing to do with LSU.

What really keeps the Big 10 and SEC from becoming a defacto minor league in which players go back and forth from the NFL to college, outside of an NFL regulation? And I doubt they'd be against it

I wouldn’t watch a single second of this farce.

That's 100% what's next. 5 for 5 has no legal basis. Prohibiting anyone from returning from the NFL or NBA has no legal basis. It'll make unlimited transfer portal and NIL stuff look tame.

Almost like someone should have seen this coming 5 or 6 years ago

Ok, I see this a lot, but what could they have done even if they saw it coming 5 years ago?

As soon as some lawyers who don’t give a flying frick about the sustainability of the game got involved, the sport was fricked.

SEC should tell the Judge to suck off. What's he gonna do?

It will have everything to do with anyone who signs them.

You do realize this involves a lot of players across multiple states, right?

Almost like it wouldn't have mattered because without Congressional anti-trust protections (I'll believe congress passes that bill when I see it) or collective bargaining (will never happen) nothing the NCAA could have done would have made one bit of difference.

Yep. There’s nothing they can do about any of this.

Plenty

Binding collective bargaining
Hard caps
Multi-year contracts rather than allowing an unregulated "Wild West" market that were enforceable

Thank you for making the argument for every player that has filed and received a TRO. This is the whole point, took you a while.

The NCAA is like Saddam Hussein.

Sure, they did a lot of bad things but now that they're gone/powerless, you're seeing real chaos.

In order to be governed without legal rules in place, the people need to want to be governed.

And the school, coaches, and players have proven time and time again (all schools, coaches, etc..) that they have no interest in being governed when they feel like they can gain a competitive advantage or feel like they can make an extra $1.
