What makes you think they could just suddenly ban NIL? A court is what created NIL in the first place

No such thing here, nobody gets a wage.
Antitrust doesn't apply here, just as you can't claim damages because Target won't stock your product. Private entities can make private rules, as long as they don't collude with the market writ large.

Had the NCAA not arbitrarily said 5 for 5 for everybody EXCEPT the 2022 class this would not be an issue. This specific thing is a one-off event because of the NCAA’s decision to exclude one class from their new rule.

Because it's been at the NCAA level, which has an effective monopoly on college athletics and thus NIL.
The SEC is free to make their own rules.
