Before season I knew our bats would be good. Pitching was (and technically still is) the question mark.
But we faced 3 good P4 (one ranked) teams first week and bats were great. But so was pitching.
Coppin State sucks. But to score over 20 in back to back games is still something. If we paid them we are getting our moneys worth.
Until we get to conf play I don’t want to over invest. Team looks good. But SEC play is a gauntlet and I need to see it then
Our scoring this year:
10-3 vs Tex Tech
10-1 vs Okie State
12-2 vs TCU (ranked)
10-6 vs New Mexico State
22-1 vs Coppin State
24-0 vs Coppin State

2 bad errors at 1st and a bad error at 2nd. Just played sloppy defense so he was trying to send a message. Came off as corny because that’s not Wes’ natural style; he’s incredibly upbeat and good at getting guys out of their feelings. First time I’ve seen him publicly try to go the opposite direction
