You don't know shite. There's no fricking way he survives next season unless there is a MAJOR improvement...if he's allowed to stay and coach at all.

Auburn is not going to pay that 32 million buyout,

They absolutely will. I bet you were one of the dumb fricks saying they'd never fire Chizik too.

He was being polite. Did not want to embarrass Barners by pointing out that they can't afford it.

No one can afford or justify a $32m buyout.

It’s why it has never happenned in organized sports at any level.

He also played for UGA. Most Auburn fans were just happy Barfield wasn't there anymore. There was a wait-and-see approach with Dye.

Bull shite!

Auburn people loved Dye from the moment he was announced.

In his press conference he was asked how long would it take to beat Alabama!
He answered 60 minutes and Auburn people creamed their pants!
Of course what Pat Dye meant was 60 minutes of hard fought effort but Auburn people took it as he would win the first game.

He came from Wyoming. Mosy Auburn fans knew very little about his coaching ability. You are straight talking out of your arse.

Answer this, Why would they NOT want him gone?

Optics? Looks bad after only 12 mos removed from a tremendous extension & buyout?

Trust? They actually believe he can "turn this thing around", even though he's the one that turned in the current direction?

Apprehension? They don't think they can hire better than what they've got now?

Y'all have said the $$ is there, so why retain him?

And you are such a dumbshit that you agree with me 100% and can't even see it.

This is 2018. He will be Auburns coach for 2019.

If he gets fired he will have coached in 2019.
They will not pay the 32 million buyout because it will have been reduced by 7 million.

Damn you are dumb!

Interim. And neither Oliver or Dye made their feelings as clear about Auburn as Dabo has.

It's a bad look. Coaches must uproot their families when they take on a new job. Firing a HC one year into a monster deal is not the best look.

Yes, they can.

Since you know so much, why don't you tell me how the buyout is structured.

The only reason Dabo will go to Auburn is to drive thru Toomer's Corner singing Rammer jammer and Frick Gus! He hates Auburn.

It has nothing to do with Gus. It is trying to convince the next HC that won't happen to him.

Gus needs to go. The problem with IF Auburn fires him, it's a bad look.

I don't think for a second Auburn will fire him this year. If next year mirrors this season.........he gone.

You said this:

I said IF he is retained and shits the bed against Oregon and then loses to A&M he won't be the coach at the end of 2019.
