Will Arkansas do what Arkansas does and lose a high stakes series to their hated rival in embarrassing fashion?

Don’t frick it up, Razorbacks.

I don’t like our chances much this year, regardless of opponent. But that matchup may actually be a decent one for us as they don’t have a lot of offense, but they do have good pitching.

Our only prayer at doing anything this year is to hope our staters can go deep, and then use our other starters in relief.. our pen is just a hot mess.. no it’s actually worse than that.

If we had a closer worth a shite, we might be decent.

Texas hasn't beaten Arkansas in postseason baseball since winning the Austin Super Regional 2-1 in 2005.

As a matter of fact, Texas baseball is 2-7 against Arkansas since then.

We've played 9 baseball games since then. You've lost 7 of them. One postseason game since then. You lost it. Trend's not good.

Either way the original post is wildly inaccurate.

Alabama (vs Ole Miss) and Auburn (vs Missouri) have a real shot to sneak into the bottom part of the hosting discussion if they sweep this weekend.

Alabama sitting at #18 on the S-Curve, Auburn sitting at #21 on the S-Curve. Tennessee sitting at #27 - probably out of the running at this point.

So the odds are in our favor then. Baseball gods love Texas and really, really hate Arkansas.

Since 2000
Texas
10 trips to Omaha
24-16
2 NC
2 Runner-Ups

3 3rd Place
3 two & Q

Arkansas
7 trips to Omaha
11-14
0 NC
1 Runner Up

3 3rd Place
3 two & Q

Pretty even. You are only missing 2 championships, 1 more runner up, and 12 more wins.

Oklahoma against LSU?

Hard to say if they will be easier to beat in a regional or super. I assume they won’t throw Skenes game 1.. but if you could reach the final with them and get that 1st game, they would be in trouble during that last game.

Super would be pretty similar, but they would have an extra arm to use against you.

I think the odds would be better in a regional.

Every single bracket projection I've seen this season has Indiana State in our region. I'm feeling pretty confident we play the Sycamores at this point

Is Indiana eligible? Would love to send those filthy Hoosiers home crying.

They're projected in Vandy's bracket, but they are in the range where they certainly could end up paired with Kentucky depending on the next few weeks.

Auburn might have the best draw on that projection. I'll take it.
