Send the vandy runner back to second and continue inning since the shortstop didn't force the runner

Was the shortstop even on the bag?

Papi and Cogswell are the keys. Get those two and y'all win.

There was no way his foot was on second when he had the ball on that double play.

Sorry, just tuned on, but why Vandy wearing Ole Miss unis? SEC solidarity?
They've worn them all year

I wish I could talk intelligently about the game, but my entire function when it comes to baseball discussions is to just sit there and look pretty.

This is probably the game right here. Do it Kili!

They're usually pretty lax about the foot drag rule

I'm glad someone else noticed that and not just me

God damn he's on fire

But that wasn't even close. First base was my primary position. The umps look to see if the foot comes off very closely for us. I don't see the difference.

all year? I thought their colors were gold and black. Never saw them wear Ole Miss unis on football or basketball .

I agree with your position. I don't like it either.

At the World Series 1st game? Really?? Not that I don't respect that. Just seems a little off.
My guess is that it has to do with Walker who started on the mound. He has been starting with the the blues. Very possibly, it was just a superstition thing.
