South Carolina has plenty of arms left, as does Arkansas. Much like today's game, it's going to come down to who can limit the mental errors and come through with the clutch hits.

Today that was South Carolina. Tomorrow, it's anybody's ball game. That's why we (basically) have to win 2 out of 3. We won the first round, SCar won the second round, and round 3 should be fun. Let's do this, Cockheads!

Somewhat, yes.

Somewhat, no. Considering the 2 guys that shut out Arky tonight, Montgomery and Price, both got knocked around vs Arky @Arky.

Which is mostly my point for wanting Holmes to start on 3 days rest. If we can tag 2 runs in 3 innings off of him on normal rest, I like the odds we can get a few more on 3 days rest.

All we needed last time was the 2 runs off of him, so even if they have plenty of arms left, he won't be pulled until a run or two crosses, which once again could be enough to win it.

I'm just ready for the game, breaking down baseball blows, wake me up at 7:00.

Again, that was over a month ago, in a different venue.

The size of TD Ameritrade is a pretty big factor for pitching conversations, I don't think it changed much between Monday and Friday.

Little easier to compare a start from 3 days ago in the same place than saying something from over a month ago in Baum Stadium.

Holmes is starting, and I trust Tanner. He knows what he's doing.

That was one of Holmes' worst outings of the season, FWIW. Don't expect him to leave the ball up again like that.

Both these teams seem to be a mirror image of the other. All 5 games this year between the two have been highly contested.

I expect another great game tonight and hopefully the Hogs can come out on top.

I know Arizona is resting an extra day, but the key for whoever plays them is getting to their bullpen. I think both teams have the pitching to keep their bats to a minimum.

Arky will lose - you just aren't winners. You will always be a good team, but never great. That's just the way of the world. Teams like LSU, Florida, and Bama know how to win on the big stage. Arky always fails when playing for anything truly meaningful.

You should definitely add us in that conversation, just for what we have done in baseball. I know the other sports lack, but we know how to win in baseball. Thats why we expect to win tonight.

Yea, that makes sense.

Only one of the teams you listed even made it to the CWS this year, and Florida went 2 and Q.

Continue your flaming, don't mind me.

First to score 2 will win. Neither team can hit.

Damn. Well if we cant win it all then I hope LSU/Bama/Florida can win this thing since they know how to win on the big stage.

I think my favorite part of all this is that the SCar fans and Arkansas fans are participating in a good discussion, and every once in a while, some butthurt LSU fan comes in and flames away.

Sad, really.

Yes, and I'll be back tonight after you get eliminated by USCe.
