The Iron Bowl, in the SEC is, was and will be the best rivalry. THere isnt anything close to that game to us. What Arkie or LSU fans think doesnt matter. This is between Bama and AU. If you havent lived it you can't understand it. You have no concept of what that game does to you.
Oh we have a "concept" of what it does to y'all. We hear the news reports of family shootings, etc.

Is this even a serious question?

I'd say the iron bowl is by far #1, followed by Florida/Georgia at #2, then it's up to personal preference after those two.

Iron Bowl.
Egg Bowl was mildly interesting last year.

Also, according to LSU they don't have any rivals.
quite the opposite, everyone is LSU's rival.
Everyone thinks they can beat LSU and LSU thinks they can beat everyone. even after an LSU game is played, the opponents think if we played again we would win and LSU thinks they would win the rematch. LSU and LSU's opponents both think they will win the game newt year.

If I had to chose to continue playing only one team annually, it would be Tennessee. I'm not from Alabama so I didn't grow up with the hate some feel.

Wow, this post points out a sick amount of bitterness and jealousy. You gotta feel sorry for someone so obsessed.

Can't understand two teams from the same state playing each other?

UK football program vs. basketball-only fans.

You are kidding right? Auburn-Alabama. The Iron Bowl has been crazy the last several years, and of course has history going back to the 1800's.
Mississippi State has played Bama more times than Auburn has. Please....

I honestly expected to see "other than the Iron Bowl" when I opened the thread.
Anyway, it's the IB. A more interesting question is which non-named game "rivalry" is the best. Maybe ignore the recent namings. I would think it's probably LSU-Bama, though LSU-Auburn used to have great games.

Tennessee-Vandy got pretty intense during Dooley's heyday, but it's fallen off a bit lately.

Are you serious? How is the basketball and baseball game any different or stronger than others in the SEC. As I said the football is a league of its own.
You must be one of those Sad Sacks that can't handle the world not bowing to the Tide. Probably everyone in your trailer park is a Gump. Its a big world, embrace it.
