He’s not wrong. I love college baseball because Tennessee is good and I’ll watch anything Tennessee is playing at least average in. However college baseball is not a major sport. It’s a regional sport that we care about in the South and no where else really. That doesn’t absolve bama from being terrible in it though

The NCAA does not have a "Big 3" sports designation for men's sports. However, "Big 3" often refers to the three most popular men's sports in the NCAA: football, basketball, and baseball. These sports are the most widely followed and generate the most revenue and media attention within the NCAA

That’s from Google.

You are obviously distraught to turn to google to make you feel better about college baseball being a niche sport that the college sports world just isn’t that interested in

Geezer Louisiana State fans like MulkeyMan and this other poor insecure bastard want college sports fans to give college baseball (snicker) the attention and respect they feel its deserved

You are quite the ambassador for the niche sport of college baseball. Hope you feel better about its place in the world

It was when Saban was there for sure. We have to wait and give Deboer a few years to see how good he actually is. He's doing really well recruiting. See how they do on the field the next few years.

Nice melt. I know you are hurting this morning. Maybe sit this one out and let the adults talk.

Looks like the Women's College World Series gives the men's a run for it's money on viewership.

Looks like the sport has grown a lot over the last few years. I think people just want to watch more sports because everything else on tv sucks. Sports are always fun.

The individual games within the series also drew impressive numbers, with Game 2 on ABC averaging 2.92 million viewers and Game 3 averaging 3.34 million.

Well, they draw about 25,000+ to the Chuck for big games and baseball is one of the most popular sports in the world. Now with NIL you’re starting to see a lot more HS kids forego the draft. Which in turn will put even more eyeballs on our little “niche” sport. Enjoy y’all’s 4 losses in football again this year. … 58-50! Y’all had football but I guess that’s gone now. At least if you were an LSU fan you would have baseball to fall back on.

Should be a good series, could go either way. I feel a lot better that LSU has its pitchers all available and lined up. Was more worried in '23 knowing that Skenes was unavailable to make a start.

Cajunbama has got to be the biggest Internet tough guy on this entire board. My guess is he's a 125 pound dick holster who thinks people care a lot about his rants. Just commenting because when I do visit the SEC Rant I always see his posts and it reminds me again why I dont visit TD as often.

You're either the worst kind of bama fan, being from Louisiana and pulling for the tide, or the worst kind of transplant claiming to be cajun but from Alabama. Either way you suck dudes and tide football will be battling with Auburn in the iron toilet bowl every year in a fight to remain relevant.
