The only time Georgia has mattered since 1992 is the occasional game and during recruiting. I can't speak for other Alabama fans, but I don't think much about Georgia other than the aforementioned reasons. Unless I'm at a game and sing the words to "Yea, Alabama", since you're still mentioned in it.

That's odd you hung out with only Bama fans that hate UGA when I know 1 Bama fan that hates UGA. And that's due to an awful experience he had in Athens with some terrible UGA fans.

FYI....Semo now lives in Alabama. Hence why I ask the question. Surely she watched the Mizzou game around at least a few Bama fans.

I was pulling for mizzou but not because of anything u said. I normally always pull for uga but there were 2 things at work Saturday.... Well really 3.
1. Uga losing hurts the ACC in the national hunt by lowering the quality of clemsons win over y'all.
2. I love a good underdog and mizzou came out punching
3. I proclaimed to some friends that mizzou looked legit after the first quarter and they laughed at me so I then had to pull for them to keep winning so I could laugh back at them.
But I've rarely met an Alabama fan that hates uga. Y'all are AU's other rival so it's one of those "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" type things.

Okay, gotcha. I lived in Mobile for 10 years and spent a lot of other time there. So you were there long enough to know the 24/7/365 thing. College football is a preoccupation at whole different level there. Just the way it is.

FWIW many of the Bama fans I know hate UGA but most of them live/lived in GA so that explains it

Killz, I watched the game in Atlanta with friends from Kansas City. I will say that, in general, the Alabama fans are very knowledgeable, and interested in Mizzou's team. They like good football, regardless of who plays it.
And I'm a Mizzou fan. 1/10.
