Is he on campus already and practicing? If not would he be capable of playing in the first game?

Yes he is practicing and would be ready to play

Doesn't LSU have a projected All-American now at the position? You honestly can't make this stuff up.

What can honestly not be made up?

I don’t see any way if, and that’s a huge if, the players win their case on Thursday that they get any meaningful snaps Saturday. I think Kiffin would put them in a couple plays as a troll move, but I can’t see any of these guys being up to speed enough to be impactful. Pretty sure the SEC guys said the same thing last Saturday.

That you’re dumb frick head coach is doing everything possible to distract your team from the upcoming season.
What happens when you drop 2 in September? You think your paid mercenaries will keep giving it their all?

Trey'Dez has been on campus and will be a match up nightmare.

They say Kiffin is an offensive genius, but I don’t think rostering a backup TE is necessarily evidence of his genius.

Let's hear it, Einstein. Kiffin doesn't have a position of need. The closest to filling an actual need just got recalled by the Chiefs. For an undrafted NFL player, doesn't that seem odd?

That's why I think he takes them if he can get away with it, if there's any risk, he won't.

Nah. We all know that the players win and the SEC loses on Thursday. That's why everyone is hand wringing.

I have heard LSU insiders saying the juice isn't worth the squeeze. But at this point it's probably about egos and hubris.

Supposedly they could use the depth the DT kid would bring

An NFL TE as a backup is a pretty good setup
