Sorry, LSU already claimed it.

Whatever Jackson Arnold did last night, it was good enough to win on the road in a packed stadium with a jacked-up crowd screaming at him most plays.

No turnovers.. executed perfectly when the opportunities were there, never forced anything or panicked,
Field General Jackson Arnold put up 38 on the road and scored 2 TD’s

Not wrong but the offense basically only scored 10 points. Granted they should have had more with the turnovers

Auburn did what it had to on the road. I give them credit. I think he held is own.

You hired your coach and your quarterback because they were able to beat Alabama at their previous school.

A live look at Cam Coleman’s draft stock with Jackson Arnold as his QB.

How will Arnold lose if he plays like last night or that Bama game?
Posted on 8/30/25 at 10:01 am to captdalton
Yes, because Hugh Freeze is known for not throwing the football.
IF bama would have run that O, maybe you could have made a 12 team payoff? I mean you have a top 3 talented roster in the country.

My assessment from last night
He was great running ball. Is a very elusive runner and Baylor missed many sure tackles allowing him to get more yards.
His passing was still suspect and most were off the mark - too far, not far enough, too hard where touch was needed, and ahead of or behind receivers. Some would have been picked by better teams. He also had that boneheaded reverse pass fumble that they got lucky to recover.
But he managed the game. He’s had so many coordinators in college its gotta hurt him and confidence. Because they kept the lead that was key. He didn’t need to throw them to victory and coach was smart to keep pounding.
Baylor knowing his tendencies messed up. Their defense was set up to stop a great throwing style qb. They should have loaded box and forced him to throw. This also would have limited his runs and likely forced him into mistakes. That was head scratching to me. Knowing his history yet they still didn’t adjust game plan.
I root for the kid he was in a tough situation at OU. Bad OC who got fired. Same OC tried to force things and it caused Jackson all kinds of problems. Then another temp OC but using fired OC’s season install (can’t change offenses mid season).
Jackson sat behind Dillon Gabriel a year so this is his 3rd college year. Because of the type game this was its hard to know how he’ll do when he faces a real defense. OU is his next real test, but they have two creampuffs to work on passing game. Then he comes back to Norman whoch will tell us a lot.

I keep reading this BS.
He was 11/17 with one throw away and no ints.. He got hit when throwing one ball and it went backwards. What in the hell is wrong with that stat line?

His passing was bad, but running was great.

I mean we did much of the time when Milroe wasn’t fumbling or throwing an interception.
His stats against Auburn last season.
Passing: 18/24, 256 yards, 0 td, 1 INT
Rushing: 17 attempts, 104 yards, 3 TD
Enjoy having a running QB who struggles passing.

I will take a 66% completion rate with no ints. every fricking game for the rest of time.

Did you even watch the game?
One pass got batted down but if you looked it was headed to a wr with 3 players around him and woulda been picked. The deep route to right side almost int because it was short. Crossing routes behind wr. End zone pass at 200 mph. I could go on but his wrs made some catches that were sketchy and he needs to take them to dinner.
