Imagine the reaction of LSU going undefeated and committee doesn’t put them in the CFP. That’s not a melt thats sublimation.

Please. Gump melts match LSU melts equally y'all just don't lose very often. Also, I think any fanbase would be pissed if they were in FSU's position.

I don't think LSU would have been left out this season going undefeated beating Fla St with Travis, Bama, Ole Miss, Mizzou and UGA in title game no matter what any other team accomplished. It would have been the best resume in the country. Two of those games would have been neutral sites and three would have been on the road.

On top of that LSU plays UCLA and USC on next year's schedule.

Bama fans would have reacted much worse in the same position as FSU.

They have been melting non-stop since their win. What week are we on of this melt?

A perceived playoff snub in favor of Alabama is one of the very few things that could set this place off like 1/9. It would be incredible.

Don't act like the entire conference wouldn't melt if an SEC champ with 0 losses was left out. Come the frick on.

That would mean that we beat a good Alabama, Ole Miss, Fla St, and UGA team. I think any team/fans in that situation would have a very good reason to go a little crazy.

the committee's reasoning was that "it wasn't the same team" or some stupid shite like that because of the injury. By that logic if LSU lost Daniels we would be in the same boat. Bama probably would be the only team in which the committee would then scrap that line of reasoning. It's back door Bama for godssakes!

This isn't 2004.

No undefeated SEC champion will be left out of the playoffs in my lifetime.

LSU's SOS was 28th, per Sagarin; in the event of being undefeated and playing Georgia in the SECCG that number would be even higher - maybe even in the teens.

In the case of this specific season, it would include wins over the ACC Champ (a now 1-loss FSU) and Georgia along with their own SEC championship.

The two scenarios aren't even remotely comparable.

So we're undefeated, yet they put a one loss Bama in over us? I would melt harder than I've ever melted.

Would have to re-engineer their entire season to drop them down into the 50's SOS. The SECCG alone would have to be someone of the equivalent might that Louisville brings to the table...perhaps SMU or Arizona would suffice?
