Last time Notre Dame played in a Super Regional, they were beat by an SEC team that went on to win it all.

I don't think prior history points to "blessing the SEC" quite like you think it might...

Texas,Arkansas, Aggie and Auburn are the only teams that I think are good enough to give us a real scare going forward. It’s hard not to have a ton of respect for Texas baseball and that Melendez kid

I honestly haven’t watched Notre Dame enough to know if they’re good enough to beat Tennessee, but after watching them in Starkville last year I feel confident in saying the big time atmosphere won’t get to them. They gave State fits last year, just ran out of pitching in the end. Link Jarrett is a great coach, they’ll be ready. Just a matter of if they have enough pieces to do the job.

I watched a good bit of that series last year. I don’t think they have the bullpen quality to beat us over 3 games. They are a respectable team but I’d honestly be more concerned playing LSU
