Just passing this along...
quote:

“I said it before the draft and I’m still saying it," Tannenbaum said Friday on ESPN's Get Up. "When you go head-to-head with Justin Herbert and Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert is bigger, stronger, faster, more athletic. And if you would’ve put Herbert in that LSU offense — Burrow’s production was phenomenal but Herbert’s would have been as good, even better.

"I like Joe Burrow, he’ll be a good NFL quarterback, but Justin Herbert has a chance to be a great NFL quarterback. And that’s why I would have taken him first.”

I mean… Herbert honestly did pretty well with a dogshit supporting cast.

He’s freak of nature athletically. I’d take him over Burrow.

Cue the incoming Butt hurt.

I will say this. Those guys get hung up on measurables, and if you only went by those, Drew Brees would have never started a game.

Why is he judging them over one year in the NFL where Burrow had the absolute worst offensive line and ended up getting injured?

Kind of jumping to conclusions quick.

Herbert is a stud, no shame in that comparison. Both could end up as perennial Pro Bowlers.

Measurables are great to gawk at but I'm sure there are plenty of QBs who are bigger, faster, stronger than say... Tom Brady?

Burrow is different from the neck up. No one has ever claimed that he’s elite physically. Lots of QBs throughout history have been bigger stronger faster than him.

Herbert definitely was the best QB in that draft. Hoping Burrow stays healthy, but his style of play will lead to more future injuries. Tua needs to learn how to read NFL coverages and follow through on his mechanics.

Shame he’s not a better QB.

Looks like that guy is looking for a headline

There’s zero reason, at this point, to think that Burrow is a better NFL QB than Herbert. They are both solid young QBs who have a lot of potential

Burrow plays in Cincinnati, so he's already handicapped.

. You could make a strong argument that Justin will be better than Joe in the pros.

But you could never make the argument that Joe wasn’t the most dominant heisman winner of all time with the greatest season ever.

Here’s the beautiful part about his, your and my opinion- it doesn’t mean shite.

Time will tell who plays out as the best
